Before a few months ago I had never shot wrestling. Never even thought about shooting it. I occasionally freelance with the Baltimore Sun and was given an assignment in January to cover a wrestling match in Arundel County. I have to admit, I love shooting the sport. You can get some cool shots from all different angles and there’s a lot of emotion and intensity that’s genuine. The challenging part in any High School venue is the lighting, but once you figure that out the rest is up to you what you make of the shots. Below are some shots from three different matches.
