At the minute, sophomore Kingston Quattlebaum and senior Andrew Sears are a nose apart for the starting job -- which in Ripple’s mind is really exciting for a program on the rise.
“The pros are they’re both learning the new offense at the same time. Each have a fresh start and I think they’re very excited about that," the coach said. "They can both throw the ball, they can both run the ball. They’re very similar sized. Andrew might be a little more polished because he has more experience. Kingston’s more athletic.”
Shielding whomever stands under center play to play are a pair of offensive linemen who spent the offseason toiling away in the weight room -- 6-foot-4 senior Malik Bryan and senior Colton Davis.
